About PratsDigital

I started PratsDigital because I kept seeing the same pattern. Business owners and founders would approach software companies with big ideas and almost no understanding of what they were actually buying. Development teams would spend the first several conversations just explaining basics that should have been common knowledge before the meeting even started.
I have spent the last two years working closely with software development companies, SaaS founders, AI startups, and technology consultants, helping them get found and understood by the right audience. That work put me in a unique position. I was not writing code, but I was sitting in on sales calls, reading client briefs, reviewing product positioning, and watching hundreds of conversations between software teams and the businesses hiring them.
I saw what confused people. I saw what made deals fall apart. I saw the questions that came up again and again, and how rarely there was a clear, honest answer available online.
PratsDigital is my attempt to fix that gap.

Why this site exists

Most software content online falls into two categories. It is either written by developers for other developers, full of technical depth that a business owner cannot use. Or it is written by agencies trying to sell a service, so every article quietly steers you toward booking a call.
I wanted something different. Content written for the person who has to make the decision, not the person who has to write the code, and not written to manufacture urgency.
Every guide on this site is built to answer one question honestly. What does a business owner actually need to know before they build, buy, or invest in software.

What I bring to this

I am not a software developer, and I do not pretend to be. What I bring is a different kind of experience, one built from working alongside development teams and understanding how software gets built, priced, sold, and explained.
Through my consulting work, I have:
Worked directly with mobile app development agencies on how they explain cross-platform versus native development to non-technical clients.
Helped SaaS companies clarify their pricing models and onboarding flows for prospects who did not understand what they were signing up for.
Reviewed countless client proposals and technical scopes, seeing firsthand where miscommunication between businesses and developers causes budget overruns and missed timelines.
Worked with AI and automation companies as they tried to explain what their tools actually do, separate from the hype.
This background does not make me a developer. It makes me someone who has watched the business side and technical side talk past each other for years, and who knows how to translate between them.
